This animal orphanage was the first place we visited here in Nairobi. It's not big at all and I wouldn't say that it impresses with the number of animals which almost all except maybe a few monkeys are in cages. Animal orphanage is situated near Nairobi National Park (the same main entrance) but is more convenient for short time visits. So If you have 1-2 spare hours and you have bigger plans for the rest of the day, this place is for you.
Just at the entrance of the orphanage there is a box on the wall that has an eye opening effect:)
For those who are interested in the animals here are some random photos taken in the orphanage.
Reading about this place I was really exited to touch a little lion and a cheetah. But unfortunately they changed the rules so we could only feed a giraffe which was also fun and unforgetable:)
When we went out of the orphanage excited and happy we couldn't even imagine that the real fun is yet to come. We met Masai and took some photos with them (of course not for free:) The photo are bit unlegible because Masai performed their national dance with songs:)
