Hello everyone! Today's post is about MY FAVORITE place in Jordan - Six Senses Spa in Ma'in Hot Springs.
To start with, I am not that kind of a woman that just needs to go to SPAs every now and then. But this SPA in Jordan has much more than a classic variety of massages and beauty procedures.
Ma'in Hot Springs are the series of hot mineral springs and waterfalls. It is located between Madaba and the Dead sea and it took us about an hour to get there from Amman.
The first thing you notice when you approach the Springs is a lush greenery and sounds or natural springs.
Six Senses Spa sits directly beneath one of the hot spring waterfalls.
It is a stand alone building featuring 10 treatment rooms which offer an experience of intimate privacy and relaxation.
Treatments focus on the mineral-rich waters, offering Dead Sea therapies combined with Six Senses signature treatments.
Most people indulge and choose among face and body therapies or a massage session, but even if you do not want to, you will enjoy just chilling in the spa pool area and relaxing in the unique (and very hot) steam cave.
Coming here is like being a part of a famous Arabian Nights tales. Its location, architecture and service are just made for you to relax.
For those women who prefer privacy there is a specially designed area with a private pool and its own waterfall. This area is completely hidden from another one and is absolutely private. As for me it is an ideal place to organize a hen party or a baby shower (weather must be taken into account, as sometimes it can get TOO hot).
However women can actually make a sneak pick at what their husbands do.
There is another (third one) waterfall for those who decide to spend more than a day relaxing at Evason Ma'in Hot Springs (a hotel located nearby). If you a=come to Six Senses Spa you can also go and check it.
Writing this post I feel jealousy for those who now live in Jordan and can easily go to this marvelous place and for those who will travel to Jordan one day and experience it for the first time.
Thank you for reading my blog.
Next time I will show you my old photos from one of our first trips with my husband to the most beautiful NATURE LOVING destination in Jordan.
