Today I will share my impressions with you about our visit to Safari Park Hotel. We went there initially to try famous Kenyan roasted barbequed meats that are called here Nyama Choma. The restaurant Nyama Choma Ranch attracted our attention promising live band music, and the Safari Cats Dancers & Acrobats show from 9.00 till 9.45. The buffet was open from 7.00. But we arrived in advance to look around and take our time on the territory of Safari Park Hotel.
Actually there are several restaurants and cafes on the territory of Safari Park Hotel. Among them Italian restaurant La Piazzetta and Japaneese restaurant The Chiyo, nice pool side bars and cafes.
The atmosphere was really relaxing at the hotel, and we decided to come back while we were still there. This Hotel is definitely family friendly, the territory was very spacious. They have tennis court, football court, nice gym, merry-go-round for children, 2 big pools and even a fall.

When it was almost 7p.m. we went to the Nyama Choma Ranch. Interesting menu at the entrance promised us a lot of new things to taste: crocodile meat, camel meat, ostrich meat...
Then the waiters started bringing sauces for meat. There were at least 7 of them, each one for sertain type of meat. And each guest was given a frying tray, to prevent your hot pieces of barbequed meat to cool down.
There were also soup and desserts (4 types of cake and fresh fruit) in the menu.
After this night I thought I would become a vegetarian, as well as it was the first time in my life when I ate so much meat. Waiters kept coming with different types of meat, so at the end of the evening we told them that it was enought.

All the evening we enjoyed live music band. At 9.00 the dance show began.
If you are a vegetarian, and you think that this place is not for you, I would recommend you to come just to see this show. It was really professional and amusing. I was really impressed by the acrobats and feats they made without any safety equipment.
There are plenty of restaurants where one can enjoy Nyama Choma in Nairobi. It is this show that distinguishes Safari Park among others.

The Nyama Choma Ranch is open daily 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm (located between the Café Kigwa and the Paradise Casino).
