Hello everyone! Today I will show you Batumi from their Cable Car.

We try to ride an air line in very city we visit (if it has one, of course). From high above cities look absolutely different.
Batumi aerial tramway is 2.5 km long and it links the heart of the city’s waterfront with the Argo Entertainment Center development on Anuria Mountain. The Lower Station of the Cable Car is located on Gogebashvili Street. The fee is not expensive at all (only 5 GEL for an adult return ticket). The is no other way to come down back to the city from the mountain, so you will drive the cable car for the second time. It takes the car 14 min to get to the Upper Station, and another 14 min to come down.
В каждом городе, куда бы мы ни приезжали, мы стараемся прокатиться на канатке (если такая, конечно же имеется). С высоты птичьего полета город выглядит совершенно другим.
Канатная дорога Батуми имеет длину 2.5 км и соединяет центральную часть причала города с г. Анурия. Вход на канатную дорогу расположен на ул. Гогебашвили. Стоит всего 5 лари (взрослый) в оба конца. С горы нет другого спуска, так что прийдеться возвращаться на канатке. Путь наверх (так же как и вниз) длиться 14 минут.

The Upper Station is located on Anuria Mountain and contains a broad viewing platform that provides amazing views of Batumi. Here you can spend as long as you want to. It was a bit windy there and a bit cooler than in town.
There is a cafe at the Upper Station which we didn't try.
На г.Анурия расположена смотровая площадка на город Батуми. Тум вы можете провести неограниченное количесво времени, но обратите внимание, что тут гораздо прохладней нежели в самом городе о очень ветренно.
Там также есть кафе, в которое мы не стали заходить.

As you have already noticed, when we went there it was a cloudy and rainy day. That is why we did not spend much time walking around and hurried up down to Batumi to have our lunch in our favorite restaurant Shemoikhede Genatsvale (Jordania Street 8, Batumi).
This restaurant deserves a separate post. We went there for every lunch and dinner and each time it was full. Delicious food, reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere, central location - are definitely enough to be a must-try.
В тот день (как видно по фотографиям) было дождливо и совсем не солнечно. Поэтому ходить по смотровой площадке что-то не очень хотелось, так что мы поспешили греться в свой любимый ресторан в Батуми - Шемойхеде Генатсвале (ул.Джордания 8, Батуми).
Это место заслуживает отдельного поста. Там мы наслаждались грузинской едой каждый день и все это время ресторан был забит. Это и не удивительно - вкусная еда, низкие цены, приятная атмосфера, центральное расположение - и все клиенты их.
