Hello everybody! Today I will continue describing places to walk in Tbilisi, this time my post is about Turtle Lake.
Привет всем! В сегодняшнем посте я продолжу свой список отличных мест для прогулок в Тбилиси. В этот раз прогуляемся на Черепашьем озере.
A particularly popular place in summer, located to the east of the Ethnographic Museum and above Vake Park. People escape the heat of the city to run, picnic, swim, sunbath and relax. Yet another spot with superb views of the city.

As I have already told, Turtle Lake is a paradise for runners and for others looking for some outdoor activities. There are people playing football and volleyball every evening during warm seasons. On the weekend morning we had also noticed some fitness women classes.
Как я уже сказала, Черепашьеозеро - рай для любителей бегать и для тех кто ищет другие виды активного проведения времени. Каждый вечер при теплой погоде компании собираються поиграть в футбол и в волейбол. С утра на выходных ми также увидели клас по аэробике на открытом воздухе.

Turtle Lake is also famous among cafes' lovers (there are at least 4 different places to chill out). Some like to shoot in one of 2 shooting ranges, or jump on a trampoline.
На Черепашье озеро также ездят чтобы посидеть в одном из 4 кафе. Для некоторых хорошое времяпровождение ассоциируется со стрелянием в тире либо прыжками на батуте.

Turtle Lake is a very relaxing place. It is as beautiful in the morning as in the evening. It is also always cooler (-2 degrees) there than in Tbilisi itself as the lake is situated high above the city.
In the evening it is usually packed with families with children and free parking spots are few. However they also have plenty of payed parking (2 lari).
I hope you will come to Turtle Lake and enjoy it as much as we do.
Черепашье озеро - очень красивое место и рано утром и вечером. Кроме того, температура там в среднем на 2 градуса ниже, нежели в Тбилиси.
По вечерам там особенно людно, много семей с детьми, по этому мест на бесплатной парковке найти очень сложно. Но на платной (2 лари) проблем не бывает никогда.
Советую всем прийти сюда - надеюсь вам, как и нам, понравится.
