Hello everyone! This post is about our stay at Radisson Blu Tala Bay Resort in Aqaba.
Every time we come to Jordan we go to Aqaba. It is Jordan's only coastal city and the country's only seaport which is situated 350 km from the capital Amman using the Desert Highway.
This time we stayed at Radisson Blu Tala Bay Resort. We have been here before several times, so choosing it was more sort of a habit rather than someone's advice.
We like its style, location, service and more of less reasonable prices.
Their decent size rooms all have balconies.
In the summer the air in Aqaba is boiling hot! So most people prefer to spend the afternoon in their rooms or in the common halls of the Resort. Jordanians LOVE ACs. They prefer 18C when its 30+ outside. So your chances to catch a cold are quite high. So do not make my constant mistake of forgetting taking a cardigan or a sweater to the 30+C Aqaba:)
There aren't many people around during the day, but in the evening the resort looked absolutely different.
The Red Sea is known as one of the world’s premier water sport destinations. In addition to classic diving and snorkelling, you may choose among water skiing, banana boat rides, scenic yacht cruises, canoeing, deep-sea fishing, jet skiing, parasailing, private yacht rental, water skiing and windsurfing.
Now, writing about this activities, I wonder why haven't we trying any of them? Maybe the heat made us lazy bones.
I bet next time...
After 4p.m. the heat decreased a little bit and we went to sunbath.
My favorite time in Aqaba is an early morning. Birds singing, no big noisy crouds and the temperature is still fine +23C.
Another plus is the breakfast time.
After the delicious breakfast the best thing is swimming in the pool to burn extra calories.
I like their big infinity edge pool. If you prefer the swimming pool as well as we do, there are plenty of space for everyone.
And, of course, there are big shades for those preferring swimming in the Red Sea.
After a long and active day, Aqaba sun goes to rest.
It is the most romantic period, when all people enjoy the sunset drinking their cold drinks and smoking shisha.
What could be better enjoying your evening among the breathtaking landscape and architecture that combine centuries-old traditions with the last word in modern design.
Thank you for reading my blog.
In my next post read about Marina Town in Tala Bay, or Jordanian style summer houses.
