Hello everyone! This post is about one of our favorite places in Nairobi - The Lord Erroll Gourmet Restaurant.
One of our Ukrainian friends advised us this pace as a marvelous Pumpkin Soup destination:) And he was right. Their cuisine is very good, indeed.
This place is located in the serene, relaxing location of Runda Estate, fifteen minutes from Nairobi city center.
Their ambiance, landscaped garden with waterfalls and water features , warm welcome are immaculate.
We preferred to sit on extensive verandah which ensures that everyone gets a view of the beautiful surroundings. In the evenings the Verandah was even more special because of its warm ambiance and patio heaters which keep everyone comfortable during the meal.
Most of all we loved delightful garden setting, complete with waterfalls, streams and ponds where they had pair of Grey crowned cranes and African Sacred Ibis.
Lord Errol has something different on Sundays for lunch, for Friday lunch, a special bar menu and very special Thursday evenings (Spouse Night).
For every couple, the total food bill is split into two and you only pay half every Thursday.
Sunday Lunch is served at Ksh 2,100 per person inclusive of all taxes.
Friday Buffet is served between 12.30 and 02.30 p.m at Ksh 1,500 (soup, main course buffet, salad and dessert).
Every guest enjoys Happy Hour Tuesday - Saturday from 5.00 p.m to 7.00 p.m. Drinks are at 25% discount. Tne menus are placed around the bar for guests' easy access. The price is Ksh 550 per person inclusive of all taxes.
If you decide to dinner at Lord Errol, remember dinner is served from 7:30 and lasrt order is taken at 9:30.
Bon appetit!
